The Mission

We are looking for a high-impact Strategic Business Analyst who acts as a bridge between complex data engineering and executive decision-making. In this role, you won't just build dashboards; you will own the business logic behind our AI-driven web applications.

You are a "Business-First" analyst who understands that data is only as good as the decisions it enables. You will lead requirements gathering efforts directly with our clients, ensuring that every AI agent and data pipeline we build directly contributes to our bottom line, regulatory compliance, and market competitiveness.

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Strategic Roadmap Ownership: Define the "Why" and the "What" for our Databricks-based projects. Partner with stakeholders to prioritize high-ROI AI features.

  • Requirements Gathering and User Stories: translate complex stakeholder needs into actionable user stories and technical requirements.

  • Business Logic Interpretation: help technical counterparts understand complex business logic and translate it into a technical context.

  • Cross-Functional Orchestration: Lead regular syncs between the engineering team and key stakeholders at the customer, ensuring that technical delivery stays aligned with business strategy.

  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Lead QA (Quality Assurance) and UAT (User Acceptance Testing) of features developed by technical team while maintaining a feedback loop to ensure stakeholder-developer alignment.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years in a role where you acted as a liaison between Tech and Business.

What will you do?

  • Mapping and analyzing business needs and processes to support the development of digital products and data-driven solutions.

  • Creating specifications for IT development projects, especially for digital platforms and data-centric features (e.g. user stories, use cases).

The Presales Lead is a strategic orchestrator who deepens customer partnerships by creating a transparent roadmap for successful architecture and Databricks platform adoption. We expect you to be a data-oriented person with data/software engineering chops and at least a pinch of business understanding.

You will be building data pipelines in Snowflake, sometimes as a Hiflylabs team member and sometimes more deeply intertwined with the clients’ organization.  Depending on the assignment and its phase you will be designing and implementing data ingestions  and transformation logics, and sometimes optimize complex ETL processes.  You will be working with technical-focused as well as business-oriented colleagues, so you will have the ability to do deeply technical work as well as converse with product managers and end users and see how your work drives the organization forward.

Main Tasks

  • Design and implement Data Pipelines in Snowflake
  • Develop ingestion pipelines from various sources (via Snowpipe and other means)
  • Create data transformations with SQL, Python, PaaS and 3rd party tools (e.g. dbt)
  • Optimize existing pipelines and transformations for cost, load time, and maintainability
  • Automate data ingestion and transformation (often with Airflow or similar tools)
  • Help business users to formulate their needs on the one hand and to make the most of the data platform on the other hand.

Requirements

  • Working experience with and in-depth knowledge of Snowflake and its family of tools, preferably over multiple projects.  As an orientation, you are likely to have 2+ years of hands-on Snowflake experience.
  • Data transformation background: sound conceptual understanding and practical experience of data modeling and ETL processing, including extensive knowledge of SQL, including Snowflake’s SQL flavor.  As an orientation, you are likely to have 4+ intensive years in the field.
  • At least some experience in cloud data management in AWS or GCP data stack components (primarily batch data management, storage, loading, transformation of structured data, Data Lake storage and management tools).
  • Team player with ability and explicit willingness to cooperate with other team members, including non-technical business stakeholders in moving the project forward.  For this you need to be proactive, and to have some level of business understanding and a genuine interest in the business impact of the project.
  • Strong technical and business English (oral, reading and writing).

As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of big data for top Fortune 500 companies. This senior customer-facing position requires extensive expertise in Apache Spark and a broad range of experience in big data solution architecture.

What Will You Do?

  • Infrastructure & Tooling: Contribute to the design, development, and deployment of robust development tools and scalable infrastructure that support the engineering lifecycle.

Help us build impactful data products!

  • Build real stuff on a cloud data platform: contribute to features and improvements across ingestion, transformation, and serving layers
  • Create & maintain ELT pipelines: bring new data in, transform it reliably, and keep it running as requirements evolve

  • Manage assigned projects (both software/products and/or infrastructure projects) and the production of relevant project deliverables and artifacts

    Responsibilities

    • Take part in various partner projects, building end-to-end web solutions from UI to backend

    • Lead and contribute to development efforts across the full stack, supporting technical decision-making

    • Design and implement web applications using modern frameworks and best practices

    • Translate business and user needs into intuitive, scalable technical solutions

    • Collaborate closely with designers, customers, and fellow engineers to ensure alignment

    • Plan, estimate, and implement development tasks based on designs and functional requirements

    • Ensure timely delivery of features that meet both technical and user expectations

    • Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests across the stack

    • Identify, debug, and resolve issues to maintain high quality and performance

    • Support team collaboration through clear task ownership and structured workflows

      Requirements

      • 5+ years of experience in web application development, with exposure to both frontend and backend

      • Strong experience with modern frontend frameworks, preferably Angular or React

      • Strong Python development experience for building and maintaining backend services

      • Solid understanding of frontend architecture, state management, and component-based design

      • Experience integrating frontend applications with REST APIs or similar backend services

      • Experience with relational databases and ORMs (e.g. SQLAlchemy or equivalents)

      • Familiarity with basic DevOps practices and tools (Docker, CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps)

      • Experience deploying and running web applications in cloud environments

      • Hands-on experience with testing (unit, integration, and end-to-end)

      • Advanced English skills (written and spoken)

      WHAT WILL YOU DO?

      You will act as a trusted advisor at the intersection of business strategy and data. . You will own the full lifecycle from understanding a client’s decision-making challenges to designing, building, and delivering BI solutions that drive measurable outcomes across industries including Retail, Banking, and Telecommunications.

      • Lead client discovery and solutioning — uncover, structure, and frame business problems where data analytics and visualization can create impact; propose architectures and approaches that address the underlying decision-making need, not just the dashboard request

      • Own the information design layer — define KPI frameworks, information hierarchies, and dashboard logic that align with the business questions executives and commercial teams are actually trying to answer

      • Design and develop executive and tactical BI solutions — architect and hands-on build high-impact dashboards and reports, following best practices in data visualization, with a consistent focus on clarity, performance, and business relevance

      • Elevate client reporting maturity — drive reporting governance initiatives and transfer best practices to client teams, leaving organizations more capable than when you arrived

      • Leverage AI tools in your daily workflow — actively use tools like Claude, Gemini, or ChatGPT to accelerate and enhance the quality of your output, from analysis to documentation to client communication

      • Bridge analysis and communication — translate the outputs of exploratory analyses into compelling visual narratives that non-technical stakeholders can act on

      • Drive semantic model design and development — take ownership of the data and semantic models behind dashboards, working closely with data engineers, analytics engineers, and data scientists

      • Lead and collaborate across disciplines — bring structure and direction to cross-functional project teams; coordinate effectively across roles and project contexts

      WHAT DO YOU NEED TO APPLY TO THIS ROLE?

      • 4+ years of relevant professional experience, including client-facing or advisory roles

      • Advanced Power BI expertise — semantic modeling, DAX, report development, deployment pipelines; you are equally comfortable designing a solution and building it yourself

      • Working knowledge of data extraction and processing — SQL, dbt, or Spark; comfortable navigating real-world data environments

      • Practical use of AI tools — hands-on experience using LLM-based tools (Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT, or similar) to enhance the speed and quality of your analytical and consulting work

      • Strong business acumen — you understand how businesses operate, how decisions get made, and how to frame data in terms of commercial impact

      • Exceptional communication skills — able to lead high-level client discussions on data analytics solutions, translate business needs into technical requirements, and present findings with confidence

      • Structured, analytical thinking — you approach complex, ambiguous problems with a clear framework and an eye for what matters

      • Client ownership mindset — you take responsibility for outcomes, manage expectations proactively, and build long-term trust

      • Fluent English, written and spoken

      • Degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field

       

      What is good to have?

      • SME-level domain knowledge in one or more of: Retail, Banking & Finance, or Telecommunications

      • Background in Big4, top-tier consultancy, or CxO-level support in a large enterprise

      • Domain knowledge in adjacent sectors: FMCG, media, energy, manufacturing, healthcare, or e-commerce

      • Prior experience with generative AI or machine learning projects

      • Familiarity with data management methodologies and/or tools

      • Proficiency in additional BI tools: Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms
